On April 30, 2007 Jac was sadly put to rest, due to a leg injury. This great minded stallion will be missed by all those who had come to know this wonderful animal. It isn't often that a ranch like ours has an opportunity to work with such a fine horse. His passing will leave us a legacy from which we'll build on. At K&M Quarter Horses, we will continue his great heritage and bloodlines through his offspring.

A Prayer for Jac
Lord thank you for this time we spent
We'd swore ol' Jac was heaven sent
His life on earth was a little tough
I hope up there it ain't so rough
Give him girls and girls of plenty
I know what He'd say "It's never too many"
Through green pastures let him run
May every day He see the sun
His legacy lives on round here
In his children we hold dear
If horses go to heaven, I don't know
But if they don't, I don't want to go
I'm sure I'll see him again some day
I could use a ride through the pearly gates.

Doc Freckles Toy. Doc comes from a long line of successful cutting performers. He is quiet & good minded. Doc's pedigree is loaded with performance cutters, world champions, and NCHA hall of fame champions. He's a grandson of the great Colonel Freckles and out the well known Jae Bar (Docs Jac Sprat) dams and Tenino Fair offspring. His sire was versatile winning the 1999 National High School Rodeo cutting championship along with NCHA earnings. His dam is a full sister to AQHA champion, Peso Gold .
